![]() I'm sorry to be contrary to what you've posted, but I can't find any entry in the 5e core three books (PHB, MM, DMG) or the Basic Rules that backs up what you mention. ![]() So bringing adventure to the town was very on point of Mr. This could've easily been a game where the players screwed around in the town because they didn't know the setting. Steven did a wonderful job about acting on a whim and giving the players an almost guided push in a linear direction that actually forced them to engage with the world. Once you introduce a higher diversity of players you sort of dilute that experience a bit. And I'm assuming you didn't like it because of the expectation of what you're getting in this setting. Just because you and other people didn't enjoy it doesn't mean it's bad. u/rollingdoan hit on point like you said, but to state that it was "bad" I think is a little too forward. They play like this in their own campaign to have fun, and you could tell at the beginning they were having fun. There are different types of players, and some viewers have a different perspective on the game than the players did. I don't think it was one of the worst at all. There's a difference between having a negative opinion about a situation, and actively insulting or insinuating something about someone. The Preshow is a show where JP and random hosts discuss a myriad of topics including coping with being locked down, the media we're consuming, and cooking!
